For being walking distance from the busy little town of Bandon this place is was a gem. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. Also very very dog friendly, which is huge for us! Bathrooms were spotless and stocked with everything you could need! For those who partake, there is a lovely little smoking shack for Cannabis use . Our van fit perfectly in the spot designated for vans right next to two little tent sites! If we weren’t on a schedule to get down the California coasts we would have stayed another night!!!

Wouldn’t stay again

Expensive for a non electric slot right on the highway. All the trails surrounding the campsite were closed when we stayed so we were kinda stuck. Hosts were not very kind. Ok if you need to get off the road I guess.

Love love love

This place was stunning and you can’t beat the mineral hot spring. The facilities could use some updating, you have the sulfer smell constantly, and the train tracks run right by it, BUT I would have stayed a week if I could. Staff was super friendly and the grounds are well kept. Would recommend!

Love love love

We showed up at 4:00 and had a selection of about 6 spots.. the rest filled up shortly after. It’s no surprise this place is beautiful. If you can watch the sunset from the observation trail DO IT you won’t regret it!!

Quiet little spot

Loved this place so much we stayed a few nights on our trek cross country. We stayed in spot 17 which had its own access to a smaller creek. You can take a short walk up the small creek to get to Clear creek. Spots deep enough for swimming. Our dogs loved this place. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap night with few amenities 😊

Great spot

Busy but nicely kept and spots are not right on top of each other. Great access to cave run lake in various places.

Not always accessible

June 2019 was not able to access the campsite due to a gate blocking the road.

Beautiful spot

We went on a weeknight in the middle of June and it was the perfect spot to start our cross country trek. We were one of two people there so we went to the other end of the campground and had complete privacy. We stayed in spot 13 it’s awesome, right on the creek. If you have a smaller vehicle use spot 16 it’s the largest and on the best part of the creek, but unfortunately there are two large boulders at the entrance of the site that made it impossible to get our large camper van down to it. Since no one was occupying it though we used it to swim! Clean bathroom and a place for trash. GREAT SPOT!
