Gorgeous views in a fairly quiet setting. If you’re near the playground the kids are having fun and it gets loud. It is not a resort, it doesn’t have any amenities in terms of club house area with games, no pool, can’t get to the river to play. It is a steep embankment down. Clean, free bathrooms and they need twice as many as they have for the number of campsites. Spacious sites. Very expensive! Easy access to Jackson and Tetons.
Despite this RV park being heavily occupied by long term residents in 85% of the park, it was well maintained and clean. Quiet. Staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for an overnight stay. What a gem! Well maintained and clean, pristine bathrooms, large sites with plenty of room between sites. Definitely will stay here when in the area. Only con was road and train noise.
Great place to stop for an overnight stay. All self-check in no staff when we were there. Good price for full hookups. Has super clean bathrooms with showers. Expensive $1.50 for 3 minutes, 50 cents for each additional minute. We chose not to use the showers at that rate.
Beautiful campground. Pretty quiet except for some road noise if you get a sight back up to the river. Cabin bathrooms could be cleaned more. Large bathroom in office building is immaculate. Water pressure super low at campsite so we used the showers, 25 cents for 8 minutes. Pricey for no cable service, like most campgrounds Wi-Fi not great. We used our AT&T mobile device and service spotty depending on the time of the day. Like being located out of town a mile and a half.
Beautiful spot, quiet, west of Lakeview approximately 11 miles. Easy to access, sites close together, bathrooms with showers very clean. Friendly accommodating staff.
Spacious campsites, with asphalt pads, covered picnic table, fire pit. In the wide open with no trees. Was super windy during our stay and the wind howled. Site 55 was pull thru site with water and electricity. Dump station near by. Entry fee into the state park included with campground fee.
Clean, reasonably priced. Roomy, pretty level, gravel sites. Quiet except for the occasional train at night. Easy access off I-70. Amenities are in great shape. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.
Beautiful campground with level sites. Come prepared, it is in the middle of downtown so a lot of traffic noise of loud cars racing down the road and it is right next to the railroad tracks. The train whistle is deafening and will rattle your teeth. 5 trains came by the one night, one as late as 10 pm. Campground is gated. Super friendly staff, We didn’t use or look at the showers and other facilities. Full hookups with great water pressure.
Quiet, except for road noise having site on the main road. Well maintained park, no campground Wi-Fi at site 63 and 64. Our site had water but no pressure so comes out as a trickle. Filled our fresh tank and used the pump which was fine. Close to all the main attractions in the area.
Stayed one night and enjoyed the peaceful campground with a park across the street. Reasonable price for full hook ups plus showers and laundry available. Clean and well maintained with level sites.
No lake anymore it is a dried lake bed, no trees and a lot of campsites. Wind blew a lot. Need a CO state wildlife area pass not a state parks pass. A CO state fishing or hunting license works too. The bugs were awful and with free electricity we could hide in our camper with AC. We had beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Busy area for lots of recreation. Lake is beautiful wil amazing views all around. Nice campground.
Nice campground with easy access. Definitely want a site a the back of the campground by the ponds. The front of the campground sites are super loud due to the highway traffic. Super clean and well manicured sites. Pricey but to be expected with all the added amenities, showers, laundry, rec hall etc.
Great location for accessing many things to do in the area. Clean campsites to fit any size rig. Friendly and helpful staff. Only con for our family the pool closes at 6 pm, as does the store.
Super clean, lots of amenities pool, mini golf, horseshoes…friendly, helpful staff. Only downside pool closed to early at 8 pm.
The park is a gravel parking lot. Electric and water hook ups look new. Staff was unfriendly and not helpful if you wish to get answers to any questions. Also didn’t give wi-fi code. Dinner at The Den restaurant was scrumptious and tasty burritos. Good for passing through but not a destination stop.
