Spent a couple of nights here and wish we would have had the grandkids with us. The older section, near the office and pool is treed a sites are walled spaced. Newer area is level and open. Back in and pull through sites. Nice pool. Store was well stocked with food items and souvenirs. Sites are gravel and our was a little uneven, but ok. Kids paradise. Pool, bikes, putt putt golf, RC car track and rentals, basketball hoops, and lawn chess. Close to Ft. Steven's State Park. Quick check in. We'll be back with grandkids.
RV resort for sure. Beautifully landscaped and right on the bay. All paved roads and level sites that are back in and pull through. It's a busy place so tough to get a reservation unless you book way ahead. Walking and bike path surrounds the park. Close to the small community of Winchester Bay that has a grocery store and restaurants. Just a great park.
Only spent one night there, but enjoyed the stay. Many pull through spaces with full hookups and fire pit. Nice outdoor pool, playground, and the office/store was well stocked. Staff friendly on check in. Quite a ways from Redmond for shopping or restaurants, but a really pretty setting.
Beautiful RV park right on the bay. Easy check in. Paved roads. Pool was great. Even caught a couple of Dungeness crabs from shore with a lasso trap. Sites were level and clean. There is a nice large outbuilding with a fireplace for groups.
Camped here with family in trailor and tent. Most sites do have a small are for a tent as well as a RV. Sites are pretty private due to the vegetation and trees. Nice playground for the kids and beach access at south end of park, although it is steep in some areas. Close to the city of Florence for shopping.
A very small campground with water and electric only. Level sites with bathrooms and showers close. There is a dump station on site. A beautiful setting along the Columbia River. Sites back up to parking lot below for Thunder Island and native american fishing platforms. The Columbia paddle wheeler is walking distance nearby for a dinner or sightseeing cruise. Thunder Island Brewing is a couple of blocks away. I think there are only ten camp sites and a camp host that we never met. This is a hidden treasure for smaller campers and travel trailers.
Spent three days here and had a great time. Staff was helpful and let us change sites when we arrived to a better location. Nicely stocked store and restaurant on site. Fishing and boating at your door. Our site was a little unlevel, but ok. Appears to be alot of long termers at the rear of the park. Very close to the town of Lakeside, which has a grocery store for supplies. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. We'll going going back.
Visited here several times and love it. It's basically a large gravel and dirt lot with sites. The old area does have trees. Some of the sites back up to the Siuslaw River. You can crab from the nearby docks in Old Town Florence, which is only a couple of blocks away. Bathrooms are clean and office staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Old Town Florence has many restaurants and shops. Very easy access to area for big rigs too.
This is a city campground next to a city park. Some spaces are a little tight and not so level. Gravel road throughout. Camp hosts were very helpful in getting us a couple of full hookup sites. Clean restrooms. A bit noisy from being so close to the highway, but the plus side of this campground is the location. Just a couple of blocks the quaint city of Sisters. Restaurants, brewpubs, shops, etc. All is level so walking and biking are easy. Been there a few times and will be going back.
Well maintained, clean, and a beautiful setting along the middle fork of the Willamette River. We lucked out and got a riverside site with full hookups. Paved road and level sites from what I observed. Even an "on your honor" ice cream machine! This is near the small community of Westfir which has a small lodge with micro brews and lunch items, which were both great. Easy bicycle ride. Oakridge is nearby too and has many amenities. Book this early. From talking to fellow campers, it's usually full.
We have visited Turtle Rock RV Resort twice and both times it was a very positive experience. Some of the sites are a little close, but if you do your research and reserve a space early, you can get a great space. We love being right on Hunter Creek. A short walk to the beach. A short to the Mexican restaurant next to the campground office. Good food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. We attended the annual music festival which is held there and it was great! We always use full hookups so I can't comment on the bathrooms and showers. Campground was clean and they even watered the dirt road to keep the dust down. Staff was very helpful and friendly on the phone and in person. Their web site is easy to use for choosing your space. We plan on return trips often.
