Amazing grounds for the price!

Although it's in the middle of the desert, this campground has amazingly soft parade grounds for for tons of outdoor games. The trails around the golf course and the views of the canyon and river are amazing. There is local restaurants and taphouses within a few minutes drive. There is a pool available to you for your stay that has a snack bar directly adjacent to it. If you are bringing an RV or travel trailer, I recommend bringing blocks for your stabilizers as some of the sites have a decent slope to them.

Perfect for everything!

This place was phenomenal! We took our new trailer on it's maiden voyage here. We were in a full hookup site. All sites were nice and level with a table and small concrete pad. Hookups we're all maintained and kept clean and ready to use. Private section of beach allows you to roam and play unhindered. Close to the Salt Creek bridge and Park, with a comet ball court and shoe horse pits. Shorts and laundry are available and kept very clean. Kid friendly and the hosts are very nice people. We will definitely be adding this park to our regular stops.

Little slice of paradise!!

Great beautiful place to stay! Once we found it that is. The road getting there is terribly rough as well.

Well kempt, but old

This park is very well taken care of being a state park. However, the infrastructure is old. My RV surge protector indicated an open ground on both our sites. When we asked about it, the rangers just told us it's an outdated system, but there shouldn't be much to worry about.

Power went out!!

We lost power for most of the night. But for the time while we did have power, the amenities were great! Pool table, restaurant, and an alcohol store a short walk away!

Fun adventure park

There's plenty of paved trails to explore, a short walk to the beach, and a friendly atmosphere. Only downside is most campsites have little to block headlights at night.

Wonderful for the whole family!!

A wonderful place to stay with plenty of things to do! There's a reason they call it a resort, with a playground, outdoor and indoor pool, hiking trails, yard games, and more. Will definitely bt staying again.

Little slice of heaven!!

Beautiful park hidden near the heart of the Olympics. We've stayed several times, and enjoyed every trip. Perfect for summertime camping and stargazing, being in the center of a deep valley. Worth the long drive through forest roads. PLENTY of hiking nearby.

Short trip stay

Grounds are aged, but well maintained. Filled with full time residents. The few we met were nice and pleasant. Good for a short stay, since it's not located near a lot to do besides the Olympic National Forest and Lake Cushman.

Beautiful park

Park is great for kids, Short walk to the beach, and facilities are well kempt. Only downside is the VERY NARROW spots. Makes for a tight fit and hopefully friendly neighbors.
