Pretty good camping experience. Decent views. Unfortunate amount of trash left behind by previous campers. Rainbow Road is pretty technical, so a high clearance vehicle is highly recommended. Verizon cell service only had one bar in certain spots.

We arrived around 2pm on Friday and the road was closed to get into the actual campground. We found a spot right off of Vasquez Road down near the brook that was perfect. It was a little crowded and kind of noisy though with other large groups camping and blasting music. Otherwise very pretty place to camp. Lots of hiking trails nearby too!
