Nice campground but there are many sites here. No privacy from one site to another. Scenery is spectacular. Still, Yellowstone is a favorite place and no matter where you stay it’s a win!
The sites were close together and RV and tent camping are in the same campground.
The sites were open and close together. The ‘No Generator’ rule was not enforced. The vault toilets were in need of pumping and the dumpsters were full and overflowing. The hiking was great and there were paths that were less traveled of you are looking for more solitude.
Quiet campground with a short walk to the lake. RV and tent camping had separate areas. Restrooms and showers were clean. Close to Ely.
Tent camp sites not too close. The view of Lake Superior was stunning. If you want to get to the Lake it is a hike down and then only a view and not up close. The hike to the falls was a short walk with fantastic views. The North Shore has so many places to visit.
If you are new to camping this is the place for you. Nice facilities, close to town and it’s like a backyard. It just outside of Walnut Grove and full of Laura Ingalls Wilder history.
Quiet and well maintained. We loved this campground. Nice tent pads and wooded sites.
Quiet campground with a nice view. We stayed here one night on our way further west. Would definitely stay again.
Quiet and nice view of Lake Yellowstone.
