Great spot. short staffed

We were here camping over the fathers day weekend. it's a very nice campground with clean spots and clean restrooms despite being short-staffed. if you are camping with kids the spots closer to the playground equipment are perfect.

The lake is perfect and a nice walk from the campsites. fishing was so so.

Short Staffed: this was kind of a pain. odd hours for the store and no boat rentals. we were traveling with a lot of kids so we had to sign up to use the pool. anticipating everyone else wanting a spot at the pool we figure we would arrive 15 min early to the 9:30 am sign-in time (confirmed the sign-up time with 3 staff members. we really wanted to enjoy the pool.) we arrived at 9:15 to people walking back to their campsite upset. the staff had started signing people up at 8 am with names already on the list.

Decent camping. Small camp sites.

Stayed Oct. 9th-11th 2020. Decent area. we stayed in site #49. super small. our table was within 6 ft of the next spots sewer drain. the camp spots in the middle of the camping around had terrible grass and no trees. camping stops around the perimeter had good grass and trees.

Spiders and mosquitoes.

Aug. 28th-30th is space #24. Lots of very large spiders everywhere. Mosquitoes were super bad. Nice fire pits but you can't have fires. Showere were decent. They need to be updated. Lots of green grass and lots of shade. All in all not bad. We will be back. Hopefully with less spiders.

Glamping Ape Cave Adventure

We stayed at the Lone Fir Resort. It was amazing. The cafe and gift shop were open late which was convient. we were tent campers in an RV spot. we have two large tents and plenty of room. the showers were .50 for approxiamtely 20 min and the water was nice and hot. very clean and centerly located. the pool was small but a very nice cool off spot. they had a club house that had cames and TVs and at night they did a movie in the park. i would highly recommend Lone Fir to anyone.

Space 26 was amazing. berries everywhere.

We enjoyed our stay at the middle fork camp ground. We stayed there to be close to the mailbox trail head. There were so many berries around the camp and we could literally sit in camp and pick blue berries. We did get a bit of rain and had to put tarps up. The trees close to camp made it very easy to do so. The camp was very clean. Felt very safe about leaving our gear in camp. I would very much so recommend this location.
