This is where I go to find my soul again. Large campgrounds with several loop. Camp amongst Aspen trees. Bathrooms, water, and picnic tables
Sprague Creek is one of my favorite campgrounds in the world. Small, but pretty private. Bring you canoe or kayak and launch on to Lake McDonald when the stars come out. The Milky Way is within gasp.
Private sites in the woods of Idaho. Fish in the creek next to most sites.
I’ve been to Priest countless times. Camp in the woods or on the beach. Upper or lower Priest Lake.
Primitive camping was a mike hike in. Once we got there camping was in a field with other tents and be careful cause voices carry. The park itself was fun. Loved being able to walk where dinosaurs left their footprints.
You can reserve online, but can’t change site at the office. We camped in February and there weren’t any other tent campers since it was off season. Great visitor center. Pretty lake drive.
I would recommend the beach camping spots. We had a site a ways back and in the trees. It was private and nice. Gates close at 7:00 pm. Watch out for centipedes; I got bit and it was extremely painful. Outdoor showers by the beach. There are toilets. Beach beach in all of Oahu!
We haven’t camped yet, but we’ve kayaked and picnics there. We live it. We’ll be back to camp soon.
There’s 10 tent camping spots on the island. Our camp had trash on the beach when we got there. You can hear the power plant all the time. The hike was pretty and we got to see a deer with two fawn. Tons of buzzerds on the trail who defend their young. We camped the beginning of October and there was only one other tent around. Nice view from P1.
