Well maintained grounds! The sites are pretty close together and don’t have a ton of privacy, but if you set your tent up right and angle your car you can get some decent coverage. The lake is super accessible, just a short walk from camp. Dog friendly (but please keep them leashed). Lake was gorgeous and clean! Occasional highway and off-roading noise, but easy enough to tune out. Had to drive ~20mins to look for a hike, but it’s possible I just didn’t know of a closer trail ;)

Beautiful place right next to the lake! Wasn’t a fan of how open the sites are and the noise from the highway. We were tent camping however so your mileage may vary with a camper/trailer set up.

Site was nice and private, staff was very friendly, and the grounds were pretty clean! A short hike will take you right to the river and there’s plenty of nice trail to explore. If stepping around occasional horse poop isn’t your thing, maybe skip the hike though. Plenty of horses and dogs around.
