Nice spot for a break

The 6-mile gravel road, while mostly level was not ideal. But plenty of spots, pit toilets and water spigots. The creek is pretty high and the current very strong and the spots next to it fairly small I didn’t even want to attempt to set up my tent down there.

Gorgeous!

Beautiful site! The lake is surrounded by small hills and is filled with birds. Sites have picnic tables and fire pits. Has RV sites with electrical hook ups. 2 toilets, though the ones in the stone building are for the courageous only. It’s a bit windy and has the faint smell of cow poop but that’s to be expected.
Very neatly organized. You do need to go down a dirt road for a while to get here.

Perfect!

Great communication with the people running the site. Plenty of picnic tables and fire rings. Worth it just for the real shower and toilet! Plus microwave and fridge for communal use. They were renovating their “hostel” area and it looks like it’s going to be super cool.

Basic but emough

Very close to the highway which is perfect since I’m just stopping in for the night. Handful of campsites with fire rings, no picnic tables. Toilet. Couple of hunters in the area. The road in is gravel and about 1.5 miles. Bring bug spray
