Great Campground

Nice campground with spacious sites! Has gate at entrance so no worries about locking everything up. Great view of the Pigeon River and good places to catch smallmouth bass along the river. Sites are level and graveled with a concrete pad and table. 50 amp service full hookup. Just a short trip to Pigeon Forge and you can catch the backroads and avoid traffic into town. Really can't beat the campground for the price!

Great Campground

❗️Never get site 947. There is a tree directly in the middle of it❗️

My family enjoyed this campground. The sites are pretty nice for the most part, with a good amount of room. The roads however are pretty tight and a bigger rig could be tough to back in. Our site had very little grass due to the shade which made for a pretty sandy mess, but we have an outdoor rug that helped. The trees kept everything very cool so it was a small inconvenience for how nice that was. The pool, lazy river and splash pad were all very nice and well kept and big enough that we were never super crowded. The lazy river does stay full, but it is pretty good size. The bath house near our site was in good condition and pretty clean. The laundry mat had plenty of washers and dryers and the store had about anything you could need. We didn't do the arcade because it required a game card, but it seemed to have a few games in it. The campground is large enough that a good cart is almost a necessity. We were in the middle of the pool and beach, but really was a walk to either of them. Golf carts run about $330 for the week, but are worth it. The only complaints I have for the campground is the lack of enforcement of golf cart drivers underage. Also, the amount of golf carts on the road can make it difficult to navigate when pulling in and leaving. It was crazy how many people were going crazy on the things. Anyway, not a deal breaker on staying there, just be aware! I think we will be back next year. It's worth the drive from SEKY for a nice place to stay and enjoy the beach for a week!

Wouldn’t stay again

As far as the sites goes, ours was okay, but a lot of the sights were not level. All the sites to the left of the pond had the tongue on the ground and the rear jacks had pretty extreme crib blocks just to get the jacks to stabilize. The landscaping was not very well taken care of and the sites really need gravel. It was a muddy mess when it rained. On a positive note each site had a concrete pad.

The pool was extremely cold and had a lot of algae around the rim, but it does have the slide which my daughter enjoyed. The bowling alley had I think 6 lanes and it was pretty good. The putt putt golf is in rough shape so we didn’t even do it.

The staff that I dealt with were definitely odd. They weren't friendly at all, but rather very straight forward and weird. Altogether, I won’t stay here again. I will try on up the road at Fancy Gap or Mayberry on our travels through 77/74.

Happy Campers

This campground had everything for a family! Two pools (one small and one medium sized), and a lazy river with a pool area which was very nice! We never felt crowded at any of these pools for a June booking. Bath and shower houses were very nice as well as the gym area. You may want to look at the campground map if you have a large camper, but for the most part the campground was very easy to navigate and sites looked easy to access. We will definitely be back!
