Quiet & chilled.

After spending a couple of nights at the popular black woods campsite, we wanted to prolongue our stay at acadia, so we thought we would check out Seawall campsite which is the 2nd popular site in acadia. Seawall is located on the western part of the island and is at a much quieter location than blackwoods. Off the bat, soon as we arrived we were greeted by a ton of mosquitos, im talking like a whole village of em! Bug central it was! The campsite is definitely quieter and more secluded than blackwoods so it had that going for it. Also its only a 10 min walk to the breathtaking seaside. Absolutely gorgeous there and a must see. The campsite itself had no showers but had water and toilets. I just wished there weren't any bugs because you couldn't hang around outside. Definitely bring your bug repellant! Also there were loads of poison oak plants around so be careful. It was a nice campsite but i wouldn't stay there again due to the bug infestation.

Convinient and great campground.

I read that this was the most popular campsite in acadia national park due to how close it was to the epic cadillac mountain. So we wanted in on that. The campsite was very close to the main town of Bass Harbor, so that was great. It was a very well organised campsite. They had excellent maps to getting to your site and properly checking you in. The campsite itself was pretty busy. Not secluded at all but it was a nice and welcoming campsite to stay at, quite chilled too. The hiking trails were right off the camp so that made things very convinient, and a hike up Cadillac Mountain is definitely a must! They didn't have showers but had water and toilets at every site. I would say all in all it was a pleasant experience and pretty awesome sleeping at Acadia National Park.

Cosy, comfortable, quirky, chilled

We were passing through Connecticut and needed a place to crash. Loved this campsite! Very chilled and secluded in your own site. I liked that it felt like a litrle community but still quotr private. They provide ice and firewood which is cool. Loved our camp site, lots of trees around too. Was very buggy so bring bug reppelant! Hot showers were fab and they have water and toikets too. Very easy to drive too as well snd friendly staff on site avail till 6pm. Great spot. Liked that the toilets were close from every site!

Spacious, chilled, clean, quiet

We arrived at our site later than the check in time, had a bit of trouble finding it but once wr did it was easy enough. Careful on the roads to the campsite, they're a bit on the bumpy side. Defo smaller roads than your usual ones. We have a minivan so we had to take our time on all the pot holes. Campsite was lovely though, and were the only people there! Great hot showers and chilled vibes. Very quiet and serene. They warn for black bears so obvs practice safe routines and leave no trace!
