Pulled into our reserved spot only to see a 6ft x 6ft section roped off for a drip irrigation repair. It was really great to have this area roped off right where you would normally have the awning out and sit. Would have been nice to know this was being worked on when I booked so I could have looked for another spot. Otherwise it is a fine enough campground.
Look if you want to really camp this is not the place for you. Spots are close together with a fair amount of trees around. Because campsites are close there is some noise but not bad. Some road noise as well and to be expected since you are camping in town. Sites are clean and maintained and full hook ups including sewer, electric and water. I don’t consider this camping because I usually head out into the forest but overall this was good and got me spending time in my camper so all good.
Truth be told I prefer camping at elevation with pine trees etc. It is winter in AZ so that was not an option for this trip. Our friends found this place and booked the sites. We were in the Ramada section. It has electric but no water at the sites. There are about 10 total sites in this section with a bathroom (clean). Our site was not level from to back so we had to lower the camper to about 3 in off the ground in the front. There was a tree which was nice but it also meant I had to park far from the power for the site. The cord reached with just a little slack in it. Ramada section is in the Maintenance area or the campground so I got to see a shed, tractors and Diesel tanks from my door. The lake was about 3/4 mile from our site. The camp rangers were very nice. The campground was clean and the general store was good too. Overall not my vibe for camping.
Campground right outside the town of Prescott AZ. Campground has water for part of the year and clean vault toilets. Sites are nice. Campground is close to the main road so you do get some road noise.
Spots are close to the lake which is really nice. The overall campground is nice and the spots were spaced out nicely.
This is a nice place close to Durango. Sites are good. The C- Loop spots are a little un-level but good overall. Very quiet and the camp host was very friendly as well. I’ll be back for sure.
Spots are close to each other but overall pretty nice for the night. Electors and water at the site, WiFi, good cell service and friendly staff.
It is a nice spot with actually 1 bar of TMobile service from the site. Close to Denver if you want to check out the city as well. We were here Sunday night to Thursday so it was quiet. You can tell this place would be loud if you came for the weekend due to all the OHV traffic and parking.
First time here the other night. Very clean spaced out sites. Vault toilets are clean and there are showers too. Many sites have electric hook ups too. I’ll be back for sure.
2nd time here and we loved it. So nice to be close to the water- 1.5 miles away. Super clean bathrooms and great views.
Very pretty and our site had full hook ups. Nice hiking and close to the Superstition Mountains.
Great campground, only open October to March. Water and sewer at each site. No electric hook ups. Close to Tortilla and Canyon Lake.
Good campground with full hook ups and bathrooms. Close to town still but far enough out makes it great.
It was a nice campground and close to Jerome for some fun. It was really really hot when I was there so I’d plan to go back when it is cooler.
This is the cleanest campground I have been to. The bathrooms are well kept, there is a nice hiking trail close and you can reserve a spot to see the caverns too. Close enough to Tombstone as well. Really like this place.
Close drive to home and nice setup that makes you feel like you are in the woods. No hookups here at all but nice clean bathrooms to use. Dump station was closed while we were here and it looks like they charge to use is when open. Overall we like it here and will come back again.
First time here and overall pretty nice. I was in spot 2 which is at the front of the campground and close to the bathroom. We were fairly close to the main road so some traffic noise but not too bad. I’ll be coming back again.
This is a nice spot close to home and easy to get to. My site was a pull through…more a side of the road spot. No shade here at all but otherwise pretty decent. My spot had water and electric. Nice dump station on the way out too
We had a great visit and stay at this campground. Only 1.5 miles from the lake which was great. Lots of space between spots and the bathrooms are good too. Highly recommend this campground.
