water was not drinkable while there. sites where good size.

nice views of the water. not many spots. seemed very quiet.

Black lake is a great lake for boating. The camp ground is nice, quite is enforced. People are nice. Sites are a bit small, trails lead into your camp so random people show up.

Good state park camp ground. Lots of people, lots of dogs. People don't pick up the dog crap though which is unfortunate. Have great paths, boat launch, and beaches. Have a dog beach too. Lots of boats in that area of the beach not paying attention.

Right on the sturgeon river you get away from the main camps of Burt lake and mullet lake. An easy drive to wolverine and a couple hour float back to camp or drive to Indian River and go to the lakes.

Lots of trees and room between. Sites room and level. Bathroom is pit toliet but clean.

Lots of camper trailers and horses. People actually had a jack and where doing a wheel bearing on a car… Would be good for horses as it is allowed. Lake is small.
