Solid Campground

Overall great experience. Was a little busier because of Memorial Day weekend but that’s to be expected, we were just happy to find a good spot somewhere that wasn’t fully booked.

Pros:

-Amazing views

-Feeling of solitude

-Firewood for sale

-Friendly interactions with who I assume was the property owner

-Porta-potty and trash can near the entrance

Cons:

-Not RHR campgrounds fault but I think one of the houses the next property over had a dog or two barking regularly throughout the night and that sound carried. Didn’t sleep well but it isn’t anything earplugs couldn’t fix.

I would still highly recommend camping here during a non-peak weekend if you prefer some solitude, but even on a busy weekend we still had plenty of space and didn’t feel too close to other campers. Kids and dogs has an absolute blast out there.
