This campground is great for family and offers many wooded sites. The lake is rather shallow so best for swimming in early summer or warm fall days. Nicely situated in Kettle
Unreal and must visit Smoky Mountain destination. Awesome automobile loop scenic drive and several other hiking paths we took. All sort of wildlife and abandon cabins and farm houses.
Walked, hiked and toured the Elkmont area and campground in the Smoky Mountains. Campground not yet open but have spots picked out next to heavy flowing streams. Great history as old time cabins have been preserved. Read about the history of this little now abandon town. Some stuff it’s haunted. Awesome day here.
Spent 1/2 day hiking the trails and through the campground here. Observed Super camping sites in this less accessed entry point to the Smoky Mountains. I have this down for an actual stay here. Many wooded spots and close to waterfalls and phenomenal hiking. 40 minutes from Gatlinburg
Been going to this campground for 10 years. It’s under new management and they are making many improvements mostly for the RV sites, new swimming pond and expansion. Nice cabin options and some wooded tent spots. The tent spots are tight but it’s a very family focused campground and mostly quiet at night. Showers are decent tons of stuff for kids. What’s nice is it’s close to all the Dells attractions and also DevilsLake State Park. Behind Ho Chunk Casino. Might be getting too crowded going to try again this year.
Unbelievable camping experience here. The sites are diverse in options for both interior forest and some lake views. Hosts are great. We had fishing boats to tie off at waters edge and walk up to site. This is real forest camping. Fishing was fun. Great 4 days away from the office.
