Camped at the end of the service road. There was an outhouse to use at the trailhead. Woke up to cows at the campsite! A horse trailer rolled up to take some people on a ride. The cliff falls trails is amazingly beautiful with changing landscape around every bend.

Had to drive almost an hour in upper gro ventre road but near the end of the road we found a secluded campsite near the river. Great fishing!!

We tried shadow mountain but as the reviews said it was busy. We went up the forest service road and snagged a spot as someone was pulling out.
