This is a nice place to stay a couple of nights. It’s close to the road yet quiet. The only problem are the mosquitoes and other insects. Carry repellent all the time.
I absolutely loved this camping site. As a person who almost never reserved in advanced I really appreciate camping sites that allows spontaneity. We arrived on a Sunday night and it was pretty easy to find available spots. Pretty easy to pay online as well.
Nice and quiet campground close to highway 21. We arrived on a friday night without reservations and there was plenty of space.
It’s located right on highway 21, a few miles south of Stanley. Very small. Description says 5 camping sites but I only saw 3. There is a running creek a few feet away from the tent sites. Very quiet.
