I've been to Sycamore Springs for 2 Girl Scout campouts and one family/friends overnight. The campground has firewood nearby each camp sight, lost of rest rooms and shelter houses, as well as beautifully maintained parks and play areas. There are multiple hiking areas and a pond to fish in.
