Another beautiful park on Wright Patman Lake, with a few full hookup sites. Beautiful area, tall pines, beach area, dock, boat launch. Beautiful park!
This is a super nice little state park. Really secluded sites with plenty of room, and great fishing piers. Perfect for boaters.
There were some drawbacks to the sites, but the water area made it all worth it for us and our toddler! He had a BLAST. Nice clean gravel sites, though a little sandy & not a ton of shade. Full hookups, bath house, and a very nice little water park. They sell affordable food at the water area, though you’re not allowed to bring food in the water area. Super friendly owners. Family owned.
We liked the sites, but there are some strict guidelines here. Hookups are a little backwards. They have a fun little zoo on site.
We LOVED our site and all the amenities. We had a spacious site in the D loop, camp was clean, and beach was fun. Highly recommend! Big playground, well laid out sites.
We didn’t have a full hookup site, but it was clean and had pretty scenery. Fun little place if you’re into boating/fishing.
We’ve not been during the summer, but we loved our kids’ Mardi Gras weekend here. Lots of cultural fun and activities for kids and family. More like a state park when it comes to plenty of shade and room between sites. Barn dances on a lot of weekends with live bands. Fun little place. Lots of perks during the summer. Some folks can get rowdy, but overall a good time.
We loved this place! Definitely more of a resort-style place, with great amenities. Close sites, but they are clean and very well kept. I’d recommend the sites on Humphrey’s Loop if you like shade & a water view. Pool, splash pad, playground, fishing pond, and more!
Loved our visit, will definitely be back! We loved the spacious sites, beach, and fishing. Near some fun attractions like Jefferson and the animal safari. Definitely recommend!
This is always one of our favorite places to camp. Close to town if you need something, but truly has everything you’ll need for entertaining your whole family. Our favorites are the walking/biking paths, fishing, feeding ducks, big playgrounds, and well-planned, level sites. You aren’t assigned a site at reservation, so you’ll need to get there early if you want a specific one.
