Quiet campground for smaller campers and vans. Dog friendly. It is on the top of the hill, so prepare to hike to the lake. There are trails along the lake, and shortcut trails through the woods, mostly narrow and washed out. The pool is very busy in the summer. The campground is clean and sites are spacious and shady, most sites require leveling. Beautiful lake and dam, definitely worth the visit!
Cool pet friendly place with hookups, and friendly people. Sites are close to the river.
Super easy booking, great host communication. This is brand new lakefront campground with tent and RV sites. Currently there are no hookups, conveniently located off I40 and a perfect place to overnight for us. An additional 40 sites are currently being built.
Quiet with plenty of space between the RV sites, surrounded by hiking trails and waterfalls. Tent sites are next to the river and in close proximity to one another. No hookups at the sites, but the campground has a dump station and water as you exit the park. Bathrooms are simple and very clean, cold water only, no showers. Cell signal is good. Solar charging was ok in April but may be challenging as the leaves come in over summer.
Did an overnight pit stop only. Conveniently located of the freeway, yet quiet. Fenced in dog yard. The staff is super helpful and friendly!
Quiet campground tucked away on Lookout Mountain, with super friendly and helpful staff. The campground is very well maintained, has a large pool, playground and giant in-ground bounce ballon for the kids, and a fenced in dog park complete with slides and playground equipment for dogs! There is a walking trails around the campground. The bathroom\shower house was impressive to say the least, very clean and renovated.
