A dirt road about 1.25 miles leading to a boat ramp, with parking for cars/ trailers. There is a bridge with a 12ton limit per vehicle. more allowed if you are towing. peaceful and quiet at night with a very nice trail and bridge over the river . This is not really a campsite, just a nice free place to spend the night and then move on, but you can stay up to 5 days. had dirty bathrooms, no toilet paper.
Only 14 spaces, so very small, but nice. Lots of space between sites. Lots of Hike, bike horse trails are very nice and easy to navigate. Very clean bathroom/showers. The only negative is that it's not far from the raid, you can hear the traffic and it's somewhat busy.
Nice place on the lake, well maintained. We wanted to do laundry and try new kind of a campground. Overall positive, but expensive. Sites are really near each other, no privacy. Probably ok for one time. Will go back to the more simple campgrounds. Had Wi-Fi, slow 1-2mgb/s . Att reception is fast.
Park is specious, nice big level site on asphalt - we didn't need to put blocks at all. Right of the river. The bad: too many bugs, ok we are in the humid south b, on the river, so bugs are to be expected. But, even with insects repellent - they still came, no relief. We had to be inside the RV. Other issue: no trash cans nearby. Ok, so we are fine with 1 trash for several sure. But no, the 1 trash was at the entrance, 300 yards away. More: you can go and swim in the river even when it's 10ft away. You have to go to the day camping , all the way on the other side of the trv parking. Internet for ATT is bad, maybe 1mb/sec download. If it wasn't for the beautiful setting I would give it just 3 stars. But the river is so nice, so 4stars
We wanted to be near Jackson, Ms, but not too near. This fits the bill. Lot of trees, very small and private - only 15 sites, most were empty. Clean bathrooms and great showers. Drive thru sites mostly. Sites have 30 amps(not sure about 50), water and sewer. Good 5G connection on AT&T
Only problem is some sites are hard to get to. We had 42C and it would have been tricky to back into it. The ranger on site switched our location to 33B and all is well. Other than that it's a nice little park. Not crowded, plenty of trees, near the lake. Recommended . ATT reception ok on 5G, 2 bars, could stream Netflix.
The site #22 is beautiful. Right near the water, quiet. But, the park didn't have a map so we weren't sure where the site was. Also, once we found the site, finding a semi-balance space was atrocious. Took us an hour of back and forth. Finally, the water was too far- 75 ft - really?! We didn't have water pipe that long so had to fill the tank, then come back to the site.
We will stay here 5 nights. Shower/bathrooms are clean and near the RV spots.. The beach/access to the lake is very near the RV sites. Park very big and lots of different areas to explore. Out of the way but well worth the drive.
Small park, very quiet and nice, right off the lake. No facilities, has dumpster . Bathroom dirty - so only 4 stars. Just side road parking, but enough to park a trailer. Amazingly, even if parking is right near the lake - no bugs!!!
