Keuka Lake is small, boat launch, small beach playground at beach and camp ground. Hiking, biking. Not far from Penn Yan, nice city, winery's are all over. TV reception there is none, cell phone not great either. Lake is clean and clear, great for fishing, boating, and swimming. Park is clean and well maintained.
We have been coming here for years. Nice large beach, swimming, fishing in Ontario or Sterling pond. Boat launch, or small boat launch in Sterling pond. The town has a small town charm, a couple of small shops, ice cream, mini golf, etc. It's worth the trip. Campground will also deliver wood to the site. One downside, NYS needs to upgrade electricity and make more sites electric. Lots of picnicking during the weekend.
Robert Treman is a small park. They added a new camping loop, no electric in it but the conduit is in the ground for it. Hiking trails, swimming is at the base of the falls. 2 new large playgrounds. The dumping station is lacking but overall nice park.
Turning Stone is well maintained with nice sites. Memorial day weekend the weather is beautiful spring weather. All full hook up sites from full sun to full shade. Been coming here for 25 + years. There is the casino, dining, golf course and more near by.
We had to contend with a day and a half of rain out of 3 days. Small guiet park, sites are large not all sites have the same electric, there 2- 50 amp,, some 30 amps and some 15 Amp. We will go back, staff friendly and helpful.
Green Lakes has camping about 25 sites have full hook up and can handle big rigs, golf, swimming, hiking, biking, sall camp store at Pine Woods, consession stand at the beach, restaurant at the club house. Across the road is the NYS Canal Trail which goes from Buffal to Albany biking, fishing, hike, and more.
Nice small state park, our site had a water spigot right behind our site hook up hose and filled camper. Lake is dirty but the had a nice splash pad for the kids. Nice consession stand reasonably priced for a State campground. Our site was the furthest away from everything. Lots going on in the area.
They have a nice beach, beautiful lake near Cooperstown NY. Lots to do in the area.
We arrived at Long Point to find out that the site is very wet. Gave us option on that site or 2 others. Took a different site and buried our class c up to rear axel, could not stay here 3 days later and still no refund from Reserve America. We wish there was some way to notify us before we drove 3 hours to get there @ $5.00 a gallon.
This place used to be called a Yogi Bear it is now an Adventure Bound staff was rude, they advertise cable TV didn't work, play ground was no where up to date. It has been taken over by the permanent campers they drive their golf carts with no regard about the kids or pedestrians. Don't waste your money going here.
