Majestic, Tranquil, Speechless

What an amazing place tucked deep in the woods, off the beaten path! Just on the other side of Walnut Creek offers quiet and peace. Lots of firewood and natural spring water. Hiking trails are plentiful and if needed, supplies less than 10 minutes away. Verizon had 1 bar. Do recommend.

Go Off Road Here

We didn’t care for the established sites at the top of the mountain so we headed back down Pollard Creek Trail- what a surprise gem we found! Creek bed camping! Cool spring to cool off on this warm fall day. Plenty of room for our tent and camp kitchen!

A way to get away

Our first camping trip in a tent and I couldn’t be happier! We spent 3 days here off the beaten path. Cool evenings and warms days, bugs not bad and very much secluded. No cell phone service so be prepared.

Buggy but Beautiful

So many options to make your home away from home! Grassy meadows or river side oasis, you choose! This is definitely the place to go to enjoy magnificent scenery and not be distracted by technology. Late September visit means the river is low, nights are cool and days are filled with sunshine. Bring the bug spray and sunscreen.

Twinkling Starry Sky Filled Nights

Absolutely stunning spot to enjoy all Arkansas has to offer! Visited in the early fall, our days filled with basking in the warm sunshine and dips in the clear cool river. Our evenings spent cozy by a fire, gazing at the breathtaking sky. Weekday visit left us to enjoy all this by ourselves.
