Beautiful campground with great hiking and incredible views! West rim is more secluded and quiet but East Rim is more convenient access to the visitor center, trail head and other activities. Wonderful camping here… we can’t wait to go back.

This is a great, cozy campground! Major canopy coverage provides shade and seclusion. Many great family activities available at the visitors center. These were the CLEANEST bathhouses I’ve been to in my life.

This is a beautiful, family owned campground. Grounds are impeccable and well maintained, customer service was above and beyond. There really isn’t a bad site in the place. Only downside- it’s off a main highway and we did hear a good amount of traffic noise throughout our stay.

Very nice campground and well maintained. Short walk to the hiking trails which connect directly into the campground. Sites are very close together but still offer trees and shade. Bathhouse is in very good condition. Each site has a large concrete picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill with grate.

Great campground right on Lake Allatoona! Many lakefront sites available and all within a no wake zone on the lake. Great for swimming and non motorized water activities. Also good places to keep your boat if you’re bringing one! Connected to an easy boat launch. Good place for families.

This is a good campground with lots of amenities for families with kids. Multiple playgrounds, access to a beach and lakefront areas. “Buffalo Run” area offers great views of the lake but with a packed in site location. Hope your neighbors aren’t too noisy or smelly in this area! :) Other site locations offer wooded and more spacious options. 3 bathhouses near Buffalo run range from YUCK to nice… don’t recommend the bathhouse closest to the tent only sites.
