Went in Mid June and there were maybe 3-4 campers in the whole park. A total of 18-20 sites. Some small for tents. A few large enough for campers. High mountain lake that appeared to have some decent fish population (2-3 fisherman, not camping). Still snow in spots at this time. No bugs, but blowing 20-30 at times.
Two campgrounds at the end of a single lane road. Road runs about 20 miles. The end of it is skinny in spots with turnouts to allow vehicles to pass. Beautiful reservoir that has plenty of room for party boats, bass boats and ski boats. Campground is relatively private in some areas. Quite nice ADA accessible camp sites. Water and electricity provided with a dump site on your way out. Multiple boat ramps throughout.
Nice quiet campground. Multiple RV and tent sites. Dump station is available for guests on your way out. RV sites have water and electricity (20 & 30 amp). Hot showers for overnight guests. Situated right along the snake river below the Oxbow dam.
