Little privacy, but nice overall

Some sites have more space than others. We were in site 5 and there was great space separating us from the adjacent sites. Others seemed very close to each other. Shade structures over picnic tables are helpful. No fire rings, but summer temps in the 90’s meant we didn’t miss them.

15-20 minutes from West Yellowstone

Beautiful sites on or near the lake. Close to Yellowstone. Swim or fish the lake. Sites have little privacy. Pit toilets are clean.

Amazing setting 20 minutes from I-80

Water is usually available, but not during out stay. Amazing setting with lots of hiking nearby. About halfway between Lake Tahoe and Yellowstone.

Decent option in Lake Tahoe region

Road noise is real. It lessens late, like after midnight, but it never really impacted my sleep, and I’m a light sleeper. Sites are well spaced and a good size. Convenient to Tahoe City (<10 minutes) and hiking. I’d rather be in one of the state park campgrounds on or near the shores of Lake Tahoe, but those fill fast.
