We were happy to be here after a long drive and failed searches . I would use this area as a failsafe-always something available here. There is a lot of shooter trash along the whole road but we were able to go to a spot with the trailer off the road aways where there wasn't much junk . Nice enough base to explore the region where we could let the dog roam around. The road is busier than you would think so if you have a spot close to the road I wouldn't let dog loose.
We were looking for an easy place away from the interstate to split our drive from Idaho to St George in half. There was no one here at all and found easy place with a tree to set up 26ft tt. Let the dog roam free around meadow. Further up are more sites but gets sandier and tighter
We went with 26ft trailer mid march. As someone else mentioned it is good for rv only on the first four or so. After that we wondered how we were going to turn around. Spoke with blm guy and he said the gate was probably locked after the kiln this early in the year but we should be able to turn around there. If looking to dry camp I would look elsewhere or drop trailer first and go in with truck to see if anything is available.
