Riverside campsite

Pulled in let at night, there were other people camping there but they were out of the way a bit. It’s not directly on the riverbank but from certain camping spots, you can see the river and it’s about 20-30 feet away. Would’ve given it more stars but it was a bit odd cause it looked like someone was kind of living there, and there was a ranger who came over and knocked on our window at 7am saying that they just had to do a special check up on everyone. Other than that though it was a nice place to camp, especially with the sound of the river rushing at night.

Nice weekend getaway

Beautiful campground, lots of trees and privacy. However, you can’t bring big rigs there only smaller trailers or tent camping. Very close to Tibble Fork Reservoir where there’s great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. You can swim too, but the water is pretty cold.

Great summer beach camping spot!

It’s hard to get into a camping spot here because you have to reserve a spot up to 6 months in advance for summer camping because it is so popular. Great beach, so much fun, but plan ahead!

Beach camping!

Great campground, on the bluffs above the beach, with stairs descending to it. At night you can hear some of the traffic on the road, and trains run late into the night. They honk their horns at night and it can disturb your sleep.

Lake Powell Camping

Such a nice camping area! Super easy to get stuck in the sand here so be prepared and walk your route before you try and drive it. Super fun for big groups and weekend trips!

Spontaneous weekend trip!

Me and my family decided to take a spontaneous weekend trip up to Wyoming. We were there the 26th & 27th of September, it was so awesome! Colter bay is a very popular camping spot and we didn’t reserve ahead of time, so we went to the campsite with the knowledge that we possibly might not get a spot and would have to camp outside the park. Well, things ended up working out really well for us and not only did we get a spot, but we were able to get in Grand Teton national Park because the 26th happened to be national public lands day! The camp hosts were absolutely charming and helpful, and the campsite itself was beautiful! I don’t think they typically have random campsite openings, but since the 27th was the last day of the season, and since it was quite cold, I think most people don’t pick that time to go. Nevertheless, it was absolutely exceptional and I would recommend this campsite to those of all different kinds of groups, small or large!

Family Vacation spot!

We’ve been coming here for several years now, and it hasn’t disappointed! It is a simple yet adventurous place to hang out and stay a few nights at! We really love the lake and all the little trails we could mountain bike on! Good place for families or big groups to come to!

Fourth of July Weekend

Due to Covid-19 everything was pretty much shut down for 4th of July celebrations. We decided to take a family trip down south to Parowan. Due to some minor inconveniences with finding a camping spot we ended up driving for several hours trying to figure out where to camp. We ended up camping at the Navajo Lake campground with our trailer. It was absolutely stunning, and I completely forgot I was actually in Utah! 🤣 it was so fun!! We got to go fishing and swimming and kayaking, and the sunsets did not disappoint! Overall very happy with our trip and would 110% go back and comp there again!

Family Vacation!

I went here with my family a few years ago and we all had such a good time! It was so fun to explore Goblin Valley and get a little dirty! A good plan for all ages and truly beautiful!

Weekend Getaway!

Me and my family live right outside the canyon where little mill is located! We absolutely love camping here! It is such a nice place to just go up for a weekend and just relax. About 10-15 minutes further up the canyon there is a reservoir where you can swim kayak/canoe fish and hike around. It is such a nice place to relax and enjoy nature!
