We stayed at Little Blair Valley which is on the other side of this, you can get to it if you keep driving down the road for a ways. The road is a bit narrow but well maintained and there were plenty of trailers out there. Probably wouldn’t take anything too too big. I got there at 1:15 on a Friday afternoon and there were some spots off the road on the way in that were open but the spots in the valley had filled up quickly. Lots of people were looking for spots until about 7 so I recommend getting there early if you want to be in the valley. The view of the stars was amazing! It wasn’t super dusty. Fires are ok as long as they’re in a metal pit. You’ll have to bring your own in as there aren’t any pits there. Would definitely go back. Very quiet and nice place to go.
This place was absolutely insane! So so beautiful and such an amazing way to see the Grand Canyon. We were just a few feet from the canyon and were able to see it from our truck. Felt very safe though. It’s 14 miles in on a forest road but the road is very well maintained. The road was also lined with spruce trees and was a very beautiful drive. There were quite a few spots still when we got there. We were there on 10/17/20 and there were a ton of bugs during the day so a net would’ve been nice but it was easy to deal with. I’ll definitely be back!
It was getting late in the day so my husband and I were looking for a spot to stay for the night and found this. We got here at 5:30 on a Friday night (10/16/20) and I think maybe got one of the last spots but it was so easy to get to. It’s right off the highway so there was some noise from that but it was pretty quiet at night. The views there are also incredible. We stopped here again on our way back on a Sunday and got a spot further back from the highway and it was beautiful and even quieter. Definitely recommend, very close to Zion.
