Stayed here for 2 nights. Sites are large, facilities are clean. There are designated dish washing stations. Nice mix of sun and shade. While sites are large, there is not a ton of privacy between sites. Only a mile or two to Suttle Lake to enjoy swimming and water sports.

Arrived around 3pm on a Friday to find the campground packed. Fortunately there is dispersed camping along the river. Parked on the side of the road and hikes down to the river and found a decent site. Only enough ground space for one tent but plenty of trees for hammocks. No water or facilities. Nearby hiking trails take you up to the popular 3 pools area.

This campsite is hardly off the beaten path, so don't expect privacy or an immersion in nature. But it's a nice quick weekend getaway and great spot for hikes. Lots of RVs so lots of generator noise, but the site was big and the facilities were clean. There is firewood for sale on site.

Decent sites tucked way back in the woods. Be ready for a trek; we walked at least a mile into our site. They do provide wheelbarrows for your gear if necessary. The Hot Springs were crowded and kids were playing Marco Polo in them. Not the Hot Springs experience I had in mind but did the trick for tired legs coming off of a Mackenzie Pass ride. Nice little shop for food and supplies at the lodge.

Stayed here at the mid point of a Mackenzie pass out and back ride. Feels a little random to be camping in the middle of a park, but a really nice option for bike-packers. We pitched our tent on the grass and had a great sleep. Town is only a few blocks away if you want to walk in for a pint or a burger. The facilities were nice and clean.

It's a long drive up a very bumpy dirt road to get here, so make sure you have 4-wheel drive and a high clearance vehicle. The campsites are walk in and there is no water, so it's definitely roughing it. But the stars up there are incredible, and there are lots of great hiking trails nearby.

Spent one rainy night here but, despite the weather, it was gorgeous. Our site was large and right on the lake. Plenty of room for a few tents. Nice facilities where you can rent boats, buy snacks, etc.

Nice, heavily wooded campsite. Large sites, clean facilities. Close proximity to nice beaches and walking trails.

I stayed here for two nights, and enjoyed some great hikes in the surrounding area, and even popped over to Lake Crescent lodge to watch the sunset on their porch with a cocktail. The campsite was crowded, but rightfully so. It's right on the shores of the Lake, the facilities are clean, and the sites are nice. Not much privacy as the sites are small. There's a nice little convenience store at the entrance to the campground for marshmallows and beer and sunscreen other necessities. Definitely looking forward to comping back.

Made a pitstop here after a long day of driving. Didn't partake in the Hot Springs or use any of the amenities. But we were grateful for their overflow lot where we were able to pitch our tent and spend the night. Overflow camping was barebones, no amenities, porto potties only. But we enjoyed a good sunset, and the campground was clean and quiet.

I spent a night here on the tail end of a backpacking trip.The weather was perfect so we cowboy camped. Fell asleep to some of the brightest stars I've ever seen, and woke up to an incredible sunset. Access to hiking and swimming is unmatched.

We stayed here for 1 night during a long weekend escape to Steens. The campsites aren't very private as they sit amongst low sage bushes, and they're not particularly large; only enough space for 1 car and 1 tent. The facilities are clean. There are lots of great trailheads in the area. Other campers were quiet and respectful.

This campground has become my go-to spot for quick weekends away. The sites are huge with a good mix of sun and shade, the facilities and clean, and there always seems to be an open spot no matter how busy the weekend. Close proximity to great trailheads  and only an hour outside of Portland.
