We were on a waitlist and did not expect to get in but received a call a week later that there was a cancellation. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained. Tons of activities for kids. We were lucky to get a shaded spot but several are pretty exposed. Can’t recommend Dunes Harbor enough if you’re looking for a resort/family style campground.

This campground is close to home so we spent a couple days here so the kids could play while I worked. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly from the minute we pulled in. The sites are tight, but it didn’t feel cramped. Facilities are older but clean and the amenities for kids are great. The WiFi was very reliable if you have to work. There is a great brewery behind the park that is within walking distance. We will definitely be back for another quick getaway.

A very busy and crowded park with lots of road noise. That said, the beach is great and it’s close to all the area has to offer. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained, even on a busy July weekend. Not the place to go if you want peace and quiet, but it worked well as our basecamp for visiting TC, Leelanau, and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
