My wife and I have been full-time RVing here for a little over a month. This is not your typical KOA. It’s off the beaten path of I-8. To get here you take some very windy roads, bigger rigs will take up most the road. Almost all sites are back-in with little site definition.
The view of the night sky is to die for!!! Lots of walking trails and a meditation labyrinth to collect your thoughts. All to the sound of ranch animals meandering through their day.
Definitely worth checking out!
From the moment we arrived the staff was helpful and friendly. After a long haul from Spearfish SD, in 50-60 mph gusts, it was nice to find some smiling faces and even better service.
Love the ease of entry off the highway. Sites are full hookup and easy to navigate for big rigs. Lots of RV repair companies all around the park.
Pool and hot tub are AMAZING!
We initially planned on staying for one night on our cross-country trip, but we had a blowout of one of our trailer tires. The staff was super helpful and some of the friendliest I have come across on this entire trip. We had site 18, which was a pull-through. BEST VIEW EVER! Definitely making a trip back.
Our first stop on our cross-country trip was this quiet little place in the middle of BFE.
Great stop for one night. It’s a gas station, U-Haul, Bait and Tackle, Mini-Campground. None of the back in sites are numbered.
