Our site was nice and flat with full hookups. There was a hill on the one side that faced the road but we never had a problem with noise. Deer roam through the campground often. There’s a little playground for the kids. The staff is very friendly as well. It was also very quiet at night. We didn’t notice any bugs during our stay either
It was a great campground. The fishing was tricky but there were tons of trout and suckers to get if you wanted them. The hiking was amazing. The swimming beach was good for the kids. They caught tadpoles galore. Another huge perk to this place is that phones don’t work. People have to actually talk to each other.
A very clean little spot, like everyone says it’s close to train tracks so not for light sleepers. Overall it was a very nice campground.
Kids loved it. They have very nice private sites with good tree coverage, awesome trails, little playgrounds and one giant playground, and a fishing pier the kids loved.
Decent enough campground. It has a bar with awesome prices on food and drinks, it has a playground with a busted slide. Basketball and volleyball courts, a man made swimming pond fed by a creek, and lots of trails. My kids really liked the pond and playground. They spent most of the weekend getting tadpoles from the water then letting them go again. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. This one has some campsites that may be a little tricky to get a camper in and out of without their help.
Great campground. Well maintained, great staff, good fishing. Multiple fishing areas, couple of playgrounds, and good history lessons. Unfortunately covid has some of the areas closed though.
The person who checked us in wasn’t very informational about the amenities in the campground or how to get to them. One guy yelled at my son for trying to go into what looked like an outhouse( my wife and I were standing right next to him but he chose to yell at my kid instead of talk to us). Seems very geared toward the seasonal clients vs the weekenders. It has a nice beach and a small playground and the seasonal folks were very friendly. As far as the staff goes the only time they were friendly was when we checked out. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but who knows.
Nice campground. Well maintained and a bunch of activities for my kids
This was the cleanest campground I’ve ever been to. Well maintained and clean. There was a pretty bad storm that came through and the staff was quick to clean up downed branches and help all the folks who got damage.
Great park, beautiful views, nice sites
Great campground. Very clean and nice. Good fishing, nice lake and and good staff.
We had a decent time at this campground. The seasonal sites are much nicer than the regular ones. We kept catching smells from the septic throughout the weekend. There is also a pretty decent hill you have to go down to get to your site so if you’re nervous or new to pulling a camper just be aware. Other than that it was a decent time.
Nice spacious sites. Clean. Lots of amenities in the surrounding area. Good golfing. Good times
The state park that houses the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Miles of great biking and hiking trails, good fishing opportunities. Good sites and clean shower facilities.
A nice state park they have good hiking and biking trails with great scenery like waterfalls and rivers
A decent campground. They have a pool with some water slides, an arcade, some fishing ponds, play equipment, a giant bouncy cushion and a couple of inflatable bouncy houses. My only complaints were that a fair amount of things were out of order and the place wasn’t very clean other than that we had a good time.
Tons of activities for kids and adults. Water parks, mini golf, playgrounds, arcade, train rides. During Father’s Day weekend they have a car show. All around a good time.
The staff is friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is good. The sites are clean and level. They have a pool and playground for kids among other activities. We go here every year and will continue to do so.
