This is a down home friendly place within minutes of anything you need in Stephenville, Texas. It has two full bathrooms complete with showers, work out room, washer and dryers and an area for meetings. An outside area under a huge pecan tree with small tables and chairs for hanging out with friends. There is a walking trail that’s not quite a half a mile. Two huge dog areas with lots of grass. The owners are super friendly and will respond to your needs.
This park is so quiet and relaxing. Sites 1-7 are full hookups and BRF except site 2 (low hanging tree). We were in site 6 and it was perfect. The park is very big with a swimming beach and fishing pier. There are stickers for you dog owners so beware in some areas. Rode our bikes five miles inside the park roads. We will be back.
Large campground. Level sites with room between them. Lots for kids to do. Pools, basketball etc….
Nice campground. Tight sites but doable. Kid friendly and in a good location. Very friendly staff/owner.
Nothing special. Sites are not level and are close to each other. They do have a pool but that’s it.
Lots of permanent campers but nothing bad looking. Nice campground. Lots to do for kids.
This is a difficult review. Huge park and kid friendly but very expensive for what you get. Level sites and very large. We arrived 18 minutes early. Had to pay $100 for early arrival!!! I ask I if could sit in the parking lot for 18 minutes, clerk advised I would have to leave the property!!! You don’t just drive around town with a 45’ motor coach with a toad. We will not be back. Not for us.
Enjoyed our stay here. Sites are level and a good size. Friendly staff.
Very tight sites if you are not in the 100 section. Manager and employees were awesome. Lots of shade and close to everything.
We were in the 400 section which are on the water but the sites are so close no way to put out awning if you are in a motor coach. Stay in the 300 section on the water.
Very nice campground. Level sites with room. Lots to do for kids and adults.
We enjoyed our stay. Level sites and very nice owners.
This quick stop is perfect for a one night and go. Level and long spots. Nice size dog run with grass!!! A Beautiful fireplace area for public sitting. Each spot has a small picnic table and chimney. Easy check in at the kiosk. Fast food right around the corner and within walking distance if you aren’t my age! It is a no thrills campground but really nice.
When you leave you have to drive the wrong way in the campground because of the low hanging trees the correct direction. There is a small playground, a mini golf, and a large dog walk. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. One downfall is you have to drive to the trash bin it is way too far to walk. Our site 30 is overgrown with weeds as were most of the sites although it had been mowed.
We stayed in site 55. Big site but hard to get into. There are a couple of pull thru sites that are much easier. Friendly staff. Lots of trees. Mini golf and pool. We will stay again.
They say it’s BRF but that’s deceiving. IMO only sites with concrete patio $$$ are BRF. The other sites roads are narrow and tight to get in and out. Sites are rock mostly level but hold water. The sewer connection in our site would leak when dumping. There are some permanent site campers who have a collection of junk laying around. Staff was friendly and had lots of activities scheduled. Would stay again if the concrete patio site is available.
This KOA is way back in the woods. Love it. Rock sites mostly level. Most sites are huge. Dog run is ok and have to walk a good was to the trash bin depending on campsite. Will be back. Some sites have concrete patio which I do recommend.
Super nice place. Pricey but worth it. Concrete level sites. Friendly staff and can walk to the Roller Coasters. Lots to do in the area.
Very nice campground. Had the whole place to our selves a couple of nights. Concrete level sites. Pond to fish in and huge dog run, but not to close to a large number of sites. Definitely will be back.
