Rough road coming in but still doable for low clearance and 2WD. Sites and pretty cramped for those in groups but still doable for the one we stayed in. Bathrooms and trash receptacles were nice and clean.
Absolutely loved camping here because of how remote it felt, yet close proximity to Sedona. Especially Memorial Day weekend when the motels and hotels were full. Beautiful night sky and generally flat ground at campsites. Only complaints are the dust and rough road but hey, I was driving a Honda Civic! Many of the spots are tricky to pull into. Obviously no bathrooms or drinking water so pack it all in but it’s worth it!
Stayed here awhile back with a group on an environmental science trip. Had an awesome time! Tent campsites were nice with shade areas perfect to set up a hammock. There were several other groups at the campground and everyone was respectful. There is a dock that can be used for kayaking at the reservoir which is highly recommended!
Awesome campground tucked in the river valley directly outside of Veyo and 30 minutes outside of St. George! Awesome campground for families with many amenities and activities such as pool, climbing, concessions, showers and more. Drove my Honda Civic in and tent camped for a night while exploring Utah. Campground manager/host was friendly and accommodating.
