Your kids will LOVE this place-we had a blast! Train rides, Pool, Scavenger hunt, trails, bike rides, there just weren't enough hours in the day! We should have reserved an entire week! The facilities were spotless, there is a store, gated entrance, nice shady lots, friendly staff, everything was perfect, we can't wait to go back!
We visited during summer, had a blast searching the shore for Petoskey Stones! The kids had a great time and we left with a good collection! If you plan on heading north, this is a nice park, clean facilities, nice sites, great for families!
Relaxation at its finest! We came here to enjoy some peace and quiet! It was by far the best place to get the job done! This place is amazing!
If you enjoy sunshine, beaches, trails and camping…this is the best place for you! Bring your bike, enjoy the sand, water and people watching along the shores of Lake Michigan! We rode our bikes for miles enjoying the beaches, took the dune rides, got icecream and relaxed by the campfire. We should have taken the entire week off to relax! We will be back!
This is such a beautiful setting, if you make your way north to this part of Michigan be sure to check them out, very friendly staff, picturesque landscape, views from every angle and wonderful facilities! Bring your family, bikes and cameras and create some memories!
Make it a priority to visit this stunning waterfall! If you are ever in the UP, please put this on your list of places to visit! Great photo ops, stunning views and well maintained trails, it is a MUST see!
The pictures say it all! Put this on your bucket list, this is a beautiful state park!
This is one of the most beautiful State Parks in Michigan-if you haven't been here, please put it on your list!
This is a beautiful campground, if you are traveling in the area and need a place to stay for a night or two or 10, please do not hesitate. This is a hidden gem!
Beautiful Park! We loved every second of our trip here last Fall, can't wait to go back.
This is a wonderful campground, we have stayed here with our kids ages 13 and 10. Bring your bikes and enjoy the scenery!
This is a wonderful park for families! We have stayed several times and it gets better each visit!
This campground is amazing! Great views, nice sites, it doesn't get any better than this!
We stayed here during their Equestrian Weekends several years in a row, great hosts and large lots make this place a nice hidden gem!
This is a great campground with access to the Muskegon River. There is a boat launch on site and lots of traffic in and out. If you are looking for a peaceful place, this may not be it. They are always packed, lots of kids riding bikes and running around, smaller campsites, etc. The sites are grassy and many have smaller trees, there isn't a lot of shade in many of the center lots. If you like a busy place with a lot going on, this is the place for you! We prefer a more peaceful and quiet environment and want to relax , plus we prefer much larger campsites so it's a matter of preference I suppose. The bathrooms aren't the cleanest but since they are so busy I guess that's to be expected? We have since found a campground we like much better just a bit further away and are now seasonal there. We love it there!
This is a quiet, well maintained campground just out of town, the facilities are spotless and the host is super friendly and helpful. You can easily ride a bike to the local stores, restaurants and beach. There are miles of biking trails, White River flows nearby for kayaking and there are plenty of large camping sites with water and electric hookups just waiting for you! They have a playground for kids, a pavilion for covered picnics and a lodge for indoor parties and meetings as well. They have many scheduled events throughout the Summer season as well, including concerts, parades, arts and crafts, etc. We ended up booking the entire 2018 Summer season!
