Wow how best to articulate what we feel about this campground We arrived today February 25th escaping The snow in Southern California. And let me tell you this is hands down the best campground I've ever been to it is unbelievably friendly staff large sites gorgeous views accessible to the Redwoods right on the ocean right near the lighthouse you can see the sun setting every night. 420 friendly. Walkable to great restaurants shopping nearby everything you're looking for dispensary across the street. Also not far from trees of mystery. Also your dogs are allowed to run on the beach
At the Benbow KOA you will find everything you need for your camping enjoyment The sites are spacious and beautiful easy to access no complaints and the general store has everything you need including wine.
In my humble opinion Benbow KOA is one of the finest KOAs out there it's not only beautiful and easy to access very accessible but it's in the middle of the redwoods it's right next to the avenue of the Giants The grandfather tree is down the street everything that you want to see is right here what more could you ask for
This was a Great location in Sonoma county The campground itself is not the greatest it's very limited they do have a honey pot service but no sewer service. There's the Russian River and not much else to do but the surrounding area is fantastic you not far from San Francisco or Napa. There's no laundry room you have to go to a laundromat they have washer and dryers outside of the bathrooms but they're not very convenient
A great place to stay in a jumping board for everything in the area would go again
Conveniently located not much Todo in the area as far as restaurants and such. Had a huge lot stayed a week
Pretty straight forward KOA nothing near by we ended up moving but would stay again
Our favorite campground in the greater Denver area use as jumping stone
Convenient and clean fun campground
Hard to maneuver roads in the park but other than that it was beautiful near the beach across the street from the beach lots of things to do we really enjoyed it
Fell in love with thousand trails felt like old fashioned camping
This campground rates a 4.0 I give it four stars because it will be a welcome Haven and oasis after a 7-hour drive from Klamath falls Oregon to winnemucca Nevada We will be very happy to see it. it has clean reviews and I'm really banking on this being a winner
I can't remember how long we stayed was at least 2 weeks if not longer and there were some unsavory long-term residents in the campground I felt very unsafe and it was dirty and I wouldn't recommend it We would never go back again
We spent the whole winter here 2021
