Nice park, not so nice area

The park is nice, and my rating is primarily based on the area. The surrounding area is not so nice. Lots of noises from traffic, trains, airplanes, and the factory across the street. I would recommend staying outside the city, but if you absolutely need to stay in this area it is a good park.

Nice park

Nice park, but the pads can be exceptionally out of level.

Location, Location, Location

Mixed feelings about this park. The sites are tight. Sites without water hookups are directed to use spigots located in other sites. Agree with others that the RV area could use some upgrades and better upkeep. Bathrooms were outdated. We liked that it was out of the city and close to Teton Village with an adjacent restaurant and access to the multiuse path. Can be noisy into the evening if there is an event at the adjacent restaurant.

Yellowstone by the lake

This campground is a mixed bag. We had a great site on the far side of Loop H. It was a small pull out style pad, but ample site area up to the forest. The lower loop area looked less desirable. There is a general store at the marina and you can take lake tours and rent boats.

Yellowstone by the river

You can walk down to the river where we hung out with the Bison, and its close to the geyser basins. Less facilities than some of the other park campgrounds.

Pricy but good jumping off point for Yellowstone

Close quarters, but nice park with good facilities.

Good stop that is city adjacent

Looks like less of a parking lot than the adjacent private RV park. Short walk to the beach and swimming area, but no other significant recreational activities. Sites are paved, many with hookups. Served well as an overnight stop on our way north.

Nice Views and space

Unusual for a private campground with ample space between sites. We enjoyed our one night stay.
