The area very serene, quiet and pretty. Nice hiking area and swimming area. If you need to get ahold of someone though you'll have to drive 10 to 15 minutes into town.
It was beautiful and the campsites while close together, were still rugged feeling. The waterfalls were beautiful, the stairs down was worth the view, tough getting back up though lol
Amazing area, absolutely beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife. Fishing and swimming in the lake, in the fall, the water is 70 degrees in September.
My family and inlaws enjoyed a week here, fishing and tubing in the springs, the water is so clear. The campsites are okay if you don't mind seeing you neighbors do everything. Not a lot of trees on the campground only near the springs. Bathrooms are clean, they have a play ground and pool as well.
The park was beautiful with tons of mossy oaks, we camped in a tent, but the bathrooms were close, there was an outlet and a water faucet near to wash our dishes. I didn't see any manatees but the spring was beautiful and cold. Pretty hiking trails and a boat launch, the raccoons loved my husband's boat.
