We stayed 3 nights at the campsite #16. Spacious site, both shade and open area. Beautiful view on the lake and great access to the water from the campsite. Since it is located on the top of a hill, little windy at times. Drinking water and toilets are less than 2 minute walk away. Very clean and well maintained.Nice, quiet place, only electric boats allowed. Small beach on the lake next to Laura lake, great for kids with perfect view of sunset. Hiking trail around the lake, well marked and easy to do. Couple bike trails nearby. We tried one of them, tall grass and many ticks, would not recommend. Overall, very nice campsite.
This is a beautiful place with so much to see! Amazing rock formations, miles of hiking trials, springs to cool off, jumping cliffs. Great campsite, spacious, woody. Little over 20 campsites, get filled on the weekends. If you enjoy the untouched nature, this is definitely a place to visit. On the down side, you pay $10 per tent per night (if you have 2 tents on one site, have to pay $20 per night). bathrooms are not very clean. And the ticks were so bad!! Maybe it is just that time of the year (tick season). Otherwise absolutely beautiful nature!
There are only 2 (two!) campsites. Nice wooded campground, remote and quiet. clean restroom. no drinking water. great access to White River, perfect for canoe launching. Each campsite has a fire pit and picnic table, very roomy. two cars per site, up to 8 people. budget friendly($10/night)! On the down side, we could not find any trails nearby. and a canoe company uses this campground for canoe launching during the day on weekends. We truly enjoyed our stay there!
We head a great time staying there for 3 nights. Visited John's spring trail that has great views; good exercise. Campground has water and toilet pit. Well maintained. Some campsites located right by the river, you can hear water streams.
Visited during Labor Day weekend. Was able to find spot on this campsite. Smal campground with only 9 campsites with water & pithall toilet. 7 campsites can be yousd for camper. Very woody nice area. Lot of mushrooms. Access to trail from campsite.
