I have a class B so picked a tent site (no hookups) but directly on the water. Fantastic sunset views. Lots of activity w/boats launching. Site has firepit and table. Gravel and level. Close to town/restaurants. If you are ok with some traffic (boats launching etc) and want a grwat view. This is it.
Apparently sites are assigned via website when you make a reservation. The on-line pics show water views, but many sites are blocked by a row of trees. The staff are super nice and I was able to get reassigned to a water view site from my computer (?) preassigned wooded site. Sites are grass and the grass really was high/wet and buggy. But beautiful. Restrooms very nice/clean. Beach is great for walking. A lot of surfers and kayaker types when I was there. Sites are spacious.
The staff here was very accomodating. I wanted to change campsites and no problem. Sites 1-13 have waterview. I had a class B and probably could not fit into some spaces (too short and/or low tree branches) . Great location to bike from or kayak. Beachfront available.
I wanted to try this area and stayed 3 nights. Very clean restroom/showers & laundry. Staff super nice and helpful. It seemed like there are a lot of permanent residents with their accumulated furniture etc…but not an issue.
Stayed here a week while attending a rv rally. Showers super clean, rv repair trucks on site as well as detailers and septic services. Concrete pads, level, close to stores, restsurant on site, pools…uber services etc
I needed an overnight…nearby Flying J would only allow staying 2 hours. I found this and got a spot in their overflow. It only had 20 amp, but glad to get it. Showers nice and clean, spot was level and sort of private. Other sites very crowded from viewing them
While visiting family in LaQuinta this was perfect…great view over the lake, clean showers, spaces not too close, walk around the lake, big horn sheep viewing
I was visiting in Ventura and just needed a rv place for the night. There were plenty of spaces and other than my rv only 2 others. Nice and quiet along the channel. Basically a paved parking lot. Can pay cash or cc @ kiosk. It was a little difficult to find, so plug in Curlew Way..it is on this cul de sac street off Victoria Ave .
I needed a place just as an overnight and called them late in the afternoon and got a space in their overflow (20 amp, water only). Space was level and large and private. Showers were clean, staff friendly.
