Close to Interstate

Friendly people, grassy site, full hookups, quiet environment, no tables nor grills. Extremely limited Verizon service, could make calls but not much connection other than that. Stayed two nights for easy drive into Smoky Mountains—better than all the congestion south of here.

Perfect overnight stop

Electricity, water, dump site, hardware store next door! Used a pull through site that was level and gravel. Donations accepted but free if you choose. Several overnighters in rvs and tents.

Outstanding

Loved our time at this park. Site was spacious though couldn’t get right on the water. Friendly neighbors and staff. Store on site. Fishing for catfish from the bank was great.

Delightful location

Only good things to say about this location. Our level gravel site backed up to the Yellowstone River where we watched the antelope feed on the cliffs and listened to the peaceful sounds of the river. Sunrises and sunsets were amazing! Staff are available and responsive, fixing our cable connection quickly so we could watch the first football game of the season. Laundry facilities are clean and it appears tent sites were located conveniently close to the restrooms. We managed to snag a site at the last minute and felt very fortunate. Convenient to Gardiner and Yellowstone, yet quiet and peaceful.

Pleasant Overnight Stay

Very pleasant place to spend the night. Manager very helpful in finding the perfect site for TV reception. Spacious gravel site, although needed quite a bit of leveling. Didn’t use any of the facilities, just enjoyed the serene environment, bunnies and doves. Perfect place to spend the night on way from Glacier to Yellowstone. Definitely would stop again.

Close to Glacier National Park

Very close to the park, adequate WiFi, no cable and trees blocked satellites. Did not use any facilities. Stopped serving breakfast the first day we were there. We stayed three nights. Not much happening close by! Be sure and ask if your site will be paved, some are, ours wasn’t. If it is raining, pine straw sticks to shoes and gets everywhere in unpaved sites.

Great place to stay

We got the last site of the day and were so pleased with our overnight stay. Such nice people and beautifully kept grounds. Has all the amenities others have mentioned, so I won’t repeat. Enjoy the flowers!

Not for me!

I’ll try to be fair after a 30 min payment dispute with the “I’m only part-time” check in attendant! All I can say is keep all your receipts! The first night we were in a space where all the traffic went right by us including a diesel truck reving his engines close to midnight. We asked to move and were accommodated….that’s where they messed up the charges. The second site was much better. Sites are gravel, well kept, and fairly level. Outside Attendant loaned us a tool and was very helpful. Close to the river and, while we didn’t fish, others did and said they were catching. Good location for Yellowstone. Nice playground for kids and laundry room available.

One of the best for an overnight stay

I can’t think of one negative comment, even the towns 9 o’clock curfew alarm was charming. The concrete sites are level and spacious with tables, fire pits and charcoal grills. The grounds are well cared with a small playground and dog run. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a paved walk just steps out of the campground where we took a walk and watched deer. We only stayed one night but wish that all our campgrounds could be like this one.

Great overnight stay

Great place to overnight in Buffalo. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean grounds, didn’t use any other facilities. Close to road so traffic might bother some—didn’t us.

Friendly Service

Nice, comfortable night just after an early September snow. Friendly staff including an escort to your site. Wished for a paved site but the gravel was level and site was well kept. Able to get a location late in the day but missed out on the better scenery sites. Convenient on/off highway
