Shaded spots, right on the Conejos

Very nice campground. Lots of shade and lots of space between sites. Fishing along the river within the campground. Trash receptacles, water and bathrooms available. Nice little day use area right next to the river.

Lots of amenities

Nice, clean privately owned campground with lots of amenities. Hot showers, bath house, ice and few supplies sold in the office. Campsites right along the river. Very friendly staff. Campsites are a little too close for our liking but worked out well for our stay. Close to lots of fishing and hiking in the area. Beautiful place to watch the sunset and the stars at night. Nice and quiet at night.

Nice, clean campground

Nice, shaded spots with fire pits and picnic tables. Clean vault toilets but no water, be sure to take your own. Plenty of nearby hiking and fishing. Gets busy on the weekends so get there early to get a spot. Saw a deer walk right by our campground during the evening hours. We will definitely be going back. So many stars at night!

Great view of the lake

This campground does have bear lockers but they are pretty small and have to be shared among campsites. You get a great view of the lake from the campsite. Bathrooms were always nice and clean. Bison were often grazing in the open area next to the campground.

Nice, clean campground near RMNP

We enjoyed our stay here. This campground had nice, clean bathrooms and showers. We did have to share bear lockers with our neighbors but it wasn’t too big of a deal. The site we had did have a pretty nice tent pad. Not all of them have a level tent pad like that. Staff was very helpful and it was a pretty close drive to RMNP. There is a trailhead near the front of the campground that leads to several trails. Very pretty place to stay.
