I normally try to stay away from RV parks as a tent person but this little private park surprised me. They don’t really have the daily changing business but rather long term RVers. Therefore, it’s pretty quiet despite a little road noise. Clean restrooms/showers (coin operated). The restaurant is not open because of the pandemic at the moment.
I arrived on a Thursday around noon and it was already full. I could see why people might like it because it’s right by the lake. But, while walking/driving around trying to find a site, I could hear the road noise. Also not much privacy for most sites. Very busy campground and I was glad to have found a site at another campground close by. This campground had the feeling of a circus.
I tried to get a site at the famous Fairholme CG. When I arrived on a Thursday around noon it was already packed. Kept driving and found not far away this little gem. It’s sat back and therefore no road noise. Beautiful nestled in the rainforest. It has vault toilets which were clean.
Very nice sites in between trees with privacy. Trails, views, and history in walking distance. Coin operated showers and clean restrooms.
Very close to the beach but wind protected sites with lots of trees and bushes. Most sites have privacy. Showers are coin operated but work well.
In the NP and close to Paradise area. Sites are nicely spaced and private.
Was looking for a tent site close to Coeur d‘Alene and found this park. The tent sites are on a grassy area by the creek. Unfortunately, ground is very uneven and the interstate with heavy truck traffic is right next to it. Felt like the traffic was going through my tent. Park is packed with RVs and families and there is no privacy whatsoever. Otherwise very well taken care off with little shop and nice clean restrooms/showers.
Stayed with a tent for one night. The tent sites are well taken care off. Unfortunately, the park is right next to a very busy and therefore noisy highway. Trucks are blasting by all day and night. Lake is not open for fun activities because of the pandemic. Not their fault but wasn’t worth it staying there.
I stayed for two nights on a tent site. The owners are very nice and helpful. CG is nestled in the trees which is very nice but don’t expect any privacy. Sites are very close next to each other. If you are further to the front you have the road noise and if further in the back you have the train noise every hour all day and night. BBQ pit is very nice for fire or grilling. The tables are small and crooked. Nice showers and toilets.
Nice little campground with only 14 sites. Unfortunately, it’s right on the busy road and has no trees or privacy.
