Great sites

Great bathrooms. Great sites. Bus service around campground and to parks. Staff is amazing. Good store on site. Multiple pools.

Dirty

Felt like this was a location where several out of town workers camp - just seemed less family friendly. It’d work as a pit stop but I wouldn’t go back again. The Mt. Pleasant KOA is a much better bet for the fam.

Perfect

We had a great site and was surprised how much room for a KOA. Loved being able to explore the city with the help and guidance of the staff. Our fave was the wagon ride to the plantation next door.

Love!

Great amenities. We went in march during a hot weekend and were surprised how cool it was - a great breeze goes through the camp. Loved getting ice cream and playing in the splash pad and pool. Fun paths to hike and coffee in the morning with deer-friends around. Will return with some non-camping friends who will enjoy the cabins or yurts!

One night, more to explore

Would totally go back. We camped one night after picking up a new camper. Great looking water park for kiddos.

Sites were not level which we weren’t completely prepared for. We made do.

Parents camp there often and love it.

Near beach, double sites

Loved having a double site with my parents. Close to the beach where we sat for hours. Clean bathrooms. Spacious sites. Plenty of privacy.

Worked well

We were on a site right on the river and loved access to sit on a float and sit - river was low but you could prob tube down a small portion of its high. Pool was nothing extravagant, god playground for all ages. Didn’t like the traffic noise or how tight the sites were but I’d go back for that river! May even try a lake site for easy fishing!

Clean, quiet

One of our go-tos since it’s close to home. Love access to the water. Sites are big and most have plenty of woods between them to block neighbors. Amazing how it can be so quiet with so many people around. Love!!
