RV’er who has travelled west more than east. The desert and mountains call to me.

Wildlife refuge

Buffalo, deer, turkey, and more can be glimpsed here. Nearly Primitive camping in a gorgeous natural setting.

We love this place

You can’t get much closer to the sea than this unless you’re on a boat. This state park is pristine and has lots of nature activities for all ages. We’ve been going GISP for decades.

Arcadia

We have taken our family to Arcadia many times to camp. While it’s close to the city, it feels far away. Lake activities and hiking are available.

Santa Fe

My favorite KOA, this one is nestled in the ever greens close to the Pecos National Forest. The office is reminiscent of an Adobe home and the hosts are super nice and welcoming. The spaces are ample and the facilities clean.

Tucumcari KOA

Super nice camp hosts. Clean facilities. Wildlife abundant.

Viva Las Vegas!

Located next to a casino and a short drive to the strip, this KOA has friendly staff and nice facilities. It’s also across the street from a Walmart for anything you forgot.
