Clean bathrooms!

Most sites here looked to be closed off from eachother, and fairly private but was unpleasantly surprised to find that I had reserved one of the least private sites available (48)

The campground was quiet and reached below freezing temperatures each evening but hit 80-85 by peak sun.

The bathrooms were well stocked and clean, and campers were responsible with bear safety.

Every night around 6-7 pm a UPS truck would come tearing through the campground Atleast double the limit and sometimes driving against traffic on a one way road.

Quiet, remote, beautiful

I pulled in here looking for a campsite on my way up to mammoth. I was able to find a pretty dope spot surrounded by rocks, and nowhere near any other campers. I was legit, alone.

Great place to pull off and sit on a rock to watch the sun set over the mountains. Shade was minimal, but if you hide between the rocks like they do in that scene on the fire planet in Riddick you’ll be alright til it cools off.

Beautiful! 4x4 required!

This place was great! We slid down the muddy road into our campsite, and almost right over the edge!

The next morning we spent two hours getting our truck back up (barely) in the middle of a thunderstorm adding more mud. It rains all the time out here

If I had a 4x4 I’d be back, but otherwise avoid this one.

Best place ever!

The price you pay to camp right in front of this lake is insanely cheap! The camp host is a riot. BUT… the mosquitoes ate. Us. Alive.

Down the road is additional free camping as well.

Huge campground. Usually has vacancies

I’ve camped here twice. Both were quite pleasant with clean bathrooms, large sites and friendly neighbors. It’s pretty close to park city so that’s pretty fun as well. Temperature in July was 98, but there’s lots of shade.

Good free option

I don’t expect much from free sites. Half of this area has shade, and half is exposed. (You get what you get)

Fires are allowed, but it’s a windy area so be careful.

Clean, quiet and shady

Plenty of shade and pine trees. The campground was pretty quiet, and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean.
