We had a great experience here. The owner Ralph is very affable and helped us get to our site the first night as well as drove my car back for me from the canoe launch site. I’d highly recommend this camp!
This is a great spot to rent a cabin. There’s great fishing as long as a license is bought online from the Colville Tribe. They also have a swimming area.
A nice little campground that I used to go to with my Grandparents. It’s mostly set up for RV camping but works well with tents too. No hookups for RVs. Longest space is probably 20-25 ft. Beautiful view of the river!
This is one of my son’s and my happy spots! We love hiking around the lake and the campsites are affordable and beautiful. The west side is more open but also dispersed. The East side is less dispersed but more private with thick vegetation between most sites. There are rocky outcrops around most of the lake and a small island. I’ve heard the fishing is good but we’ve never gotten any bites yet… but that’s just a matter of figuring out what lures/bait to use. Many people just park next to the road to fish as eagles and osprey can be seen diving into the lake to catch fish of their own.
I took my son here as soon as the roads cleared of snow and we had an amazing time. We were the only people at the camp that night but people showed up the next day and there were day use people there the first day as well. The lake is beautiful and we took our canoe out on it a couple times. We also had great hikes on the local trails. We couldn’t get the fish to bite but others told us the lake is stocked. We also made some spontaneous friends with other visitors. Not all the other visitors were great but a majority of the people we met were.
