The swell is beautiful and has miles and miles of open BLM to camp in! Boondock your trailer and you’ll have the place to yourself! Great for ATVs, stargazing, hiking and solitude. Must do spring or fall- summer is too hot. Stream is fun to tube and play in. BLM has no facilities- pack in pack out.
spent a hot night in June passing through. Thankful for the hook ups to run the AC! Gorgeous, Quiet, starfilled night. Right near the lake.
Blackhawk is great if you can’t find reservations elsewhere. we booked equestrian sites up at the top - highest elevation. Good views, pavilions, fire pits and pit toilets. Don’t have to have horses to book equestrian and they seem to be more available since I don’t think people k ow this.
Beautiful mountain location! Neatlwd in the trees, cool mountain air, close to natural creeks and fishing streams. Polular spot- book early!
The campground is spacious, has showers, running water bathrooms, fire pits, cement pads and pavilions. Great place to camp- much better than being on the beach- due to the wind! Yuba beach is always windy and the oasis campground gives some reprieve
Wasatch campground is really the only campground in the Wasatch back- Take note that they close the gates at 10pm!
I have great memories of camping at Smith & Morehouse as a kid! We practically had the campground to ourselves! This is not the case anymore- it’s always booked! Beautiful and clean campground in the high Unitas. Book early!
Great spots right on the Lake! very popular on Holiday weekends. First come sites- no tables or hook ups. Just set up In sand. Vault toilets along beach- a ways up from water. showers are available up top as you enter the beach area. I highly recommend 4 wheel drive- or you WILL GET STUCK IN SAND! Labor day weekend Is a party!
Thunderstoms are common every afternoon In late summer. Fun to watch, but get off the water when uoI see them rolling In.
Goblin valley is like no other place! The “official campground” is not preferred. Head out to BLM land and set up camp!
This is a great campground close to the Parks and the town of Jackson Hole. Large open campground. It is in Bear country so be sure to not leave Anything outside. This is enforced and even a locked cooler can be confiscated by rangers. Some sites have great partial views of Tetons.
Tanners flat is a close trip up Little Cottonwood Canyon. NO Dogs allowed in the canyon- it is a watershed. Very popular spot for locals to day trip or weekend trip.

Located in Draper, Ut. Residential park mostly. The managers are rude and disorganized, but the staff is nice. pretty much a low level KOA in the middle of the city near the freeway noise.
Little Mill campground is a quick trip up American Fork Canyon. Runs parallel to the popular alpine loop road and the creek. Close to TImpanogas Cave trailhead.
